Prices

If you use the care provided by Dokterswacht Friesland, there are costs involved. These costs are higher than when you go to your own doctor, for example. The basic insurance of your health insurance reimburses these costs.

Insured abroad?
Do you have health insurance in another country? Then take your insurance card with you to the General Practitioner. Do you have a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC)? So take it with you. If you are not insured in the Netherlands and you do not have an EHIC, you pay for the consultation in advance. Check with your own health insurer whether you will be reimbursed for the costs.

Are you not insured?
Then you pay the costs at the General Practitioner.

The rates for emergency GP care in the evening, night and weekends have been set by the Dutch Healthcare Authority.
